Returning from the Dan Beard Council Good Scout Award Luncheon, Shane Noem's car contains a stuffed raccoon and opossum that were used in a model campsite to add some humor to the set up. The animals were created by Dave Noem to be used in his garden to scare birds away.

Abnormal Antler February 20, 2011

A pair of whitetail deer antlers in Dave Noem's Taxidermy Studio shows where a client's deer was injured and had a skull fracture, that would normally kill most creatures, and the skull has fused and grown back together. Discoveries like this shocked both Noem and his client after the skull was cleaned.

A large Mute Swan hangs from the ceiling in the work room at Noem's Wildlife Artistry in Union, KY. Taxidermist Dave Noem mounts the bird for a customer who has a matching bird waiting for its pair at home. The bird's wingspan is over five foot.

Standing at 16 feet high, a giraffe form decorates the skyline at Noem's Wildlife Artistry. Taxidermist Dave Noem has mounted several large game including giraffes before, but this will be the first life sized giraffe he has ever done.
